This form provides general information about the specific conditions to be used for automatic discounts: the condition type, discount method, scope and specific inventory items, services, or groups of items which if listed in a sales document, make an additional condition.
Note. The same condition can be used for multiple discounts.
On this form, the following fields are required: Description, and Discount Condition.

If this automatic discount condition is a part of a certain group of discount conditions, select this group in the Folder field or create a new group to hold the discount condition by clicking the button in the drop-down list.
In the Description field, an auto-generated name for discount condition will appear once you provide the conditions.
In the Condition Type field, select one of the following options:
- For Single-Sales Volume: To define the condition as applicable to amount or quantity of specific items in a document.
- For Kit Sales: To define this discount condition as applicable to sales of a specific kit (set) of inventory items and/or services.
Condition Type: Single-Sales Volume
Use the five fields (marked by a red-border rectangle on the screenshot above) to specify the condition.
In the first field, you can select one of the following options: Quantity or Amount.
In the second field, you can select one of the following options as the discount scope:
- In Document: To make the discount applicable to whole document.
- In Document (Item): Only to an item in the document (for instance, the same inventory item may be listed in multiple lines with different serial or lot numbers).
- In Line: To make the discount applicable to a single line in the document.
By using the third and forth field, you can complete the condition by adding a logical operation and the value. And in the fifth field, which appears if the Amount option is selected in the first field, you must select the currency of the amount. For example, on the screenshot above the condition reads as: if the amount in document is greater or equal to 10000 AED.
In the table below, you can create a list of inventory items, services, or groups of inventory items or services included in this condition.
Condition Type: For Kit Sales
If you selected For Kit Sales option as the condition type, you only need to specify the kit (set) which will trigger the discount for specific documents.

In the table (the lower area of the form), click Add to add any inventory items, services, groups of inventory items or services as components of a set (kit). In the Quantity and UOM columns, specify the quantity of each item measured in specific UOM required for the kit component.
The toolbar buttons
After filling out the tab, click the Save button to save your work. After filling out all the tabs, click Save and Close to save the record and close the form. For other button descriptions, see Document Toolbar.
