To access the Conservations of Fixed Assets document list, go to Asset Management > Fixed Assets > Conservations of Fixed Assets. Only fixed assets with the Accepted to Accounting status can be placed in conservation.

Documents of this type are available if the Enable Conservation of Fixed Assets option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Asset Management form.

After some period of fixed asset usage, the organization may decide to stop the usage due to various reasons; however, the depreciation calculation can be continued. The fixed asset status changes to In Conservation and the net book value will be moved to the Assets in Conservation GL Account from the Fixed Asset GL account. Also,  depreciation calculation for the listed assets can be stopped.
