Using the Operations tab, you can manually enter or import operations from any bank statement that was received from the bank in a format of electronic document.

To manually add a line of statement, click the Add button. In the Item column, select an item from the Items list or create a new item. For more details, refer to Items.

Alternatively, you can import the statement lines with all the required details from an Excel document. For this, click the Import () button on the table toolbar and follow the step-by-step instructions in the appeared window.

The Transaction Date column shows the date of the bank transaction (operation).

The Reference Number column shows the reference number of the transaction.

The Description column shows an optional information related to the transaction.

The Opening Balance column shows the balance of the bank account that the account has before the operation was executed.

The Payment Amount column shows the amount of the transaction that decreases the balance.

The Receipt Amount column shows the amount of the transaction that increases the balance.

The Closing Balance column shows the balance of the bank account that resulted from the transaction execution.

The Reconciliation Status column shows the status assigned to the transaction (statement line) after the statement was used for reconciliation with internal bank documents and was posted.

If you need to manually add an operation, click the Add button.

Use the Up and Down () buttons to rearrange the items in the list.

Click the Import () button if you are going to import the bank statement. The Import from Excel form appears.

If the statement is an Excel spreadsheet, click the Select button at the top of the form.

By browsing the local disks or network, locate the Excel spreadsheet that you need to import and double-click it or click Open.

The data will be imported; otherwise, you will view the warnings about mismatched data formats. Correct the errors in the input file and import the data.
