To access the Consignee Reports list, go to Sales > Sales Documents > Consignee Reports.
Consignee Reports are available if the Issue Goods for Consignment Sales option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Sales form.
Documents of this type are used to register the items sold to end customers by another company (consignee) for commissions. Consignee Reports provide details on sold items, end customers, and commission amounts that are due on the sales. For more information, refer to Overview of Consignment Sales.
The Consignee Reports list
The list of consignee reports includes all the consignee report available in the system. If you don't see a specific document, rearrange the list by date or document number or use the Search field to locate the document by a string in company name, or by amount. You can change the list display settings to suit your particular needs. To learn more about the list display settings, see Working with the item list.
Consignee reports can be created based on documents of the Invoice type.
Consignee reports can be used as the basis for documents of the following types:
- Cash Payment: For cash payments made to consignees as their commissions.
- Bank Payment: For bank payments made to consignees as their commissions.
- Cheque Issued: For payments to consignees made by bank cheques for their commissions.
- Tax Invoice: To register the VAT on sales of the transferred items.
- Cash Receipt: To register any cash payments received from the consignee for consignment sales.
- Bank Receipt: To register any payments received from the consignee to your bank account for the sales of items on consignment sales.
- Cheque Received: To record any bank checks received from the consignee for consignment sales.
- Tax Invoice Received: To register the taxes on commissions to be paid to consignee.
The toolbar buttons
To manually create a new document of the Consignee Report type, click the Create button on the toolbar.
To create a document based on a consignee report, select the appropriate consignee report from the list, click the Generate button and select the required document type. The data from the consignee report will be automatically copied to the new document.
To edit an existing document, double-click the line with the document in the Consignee Reports list. You can also select the line, right-click it, and select Edit or click on the toolbar: More actions > Edit .
