On the Individuals (create) form, you can enter information about persons who are employees of your company or otherwise related to the company business. 

On this form, only the Full Name field is required.

If an individual is a member of specific group, select this parent group in the Folder field. 

In the Full Name field, enter the the first, last, and middle names of the person. Note. If you made an error, after saving the record, you can correct the names and specify which of the names are the first, middle, and last names by using the Last Name, First Name, Middle Name of Individual link. 

<Auto> in the Code field indicates that the system will automatically assign a unique code to the new individual once you save it. 

Specify the gender of the individual in the Gender field. Enter the date of birth in the Birth Date field. 

In the Marital Status field, select the option which matches the marital status of the individual:

  • Single
  • Engaged
  • Married
  • Divorced
  • Separated
  • Widowed

Use the Nationality field to select the country of the individual.

Use the Religion field to select or create the option that reflects the religious beliefs of the individual.

The Contact Information section

In the Home Address field, create a new address. Note. Before you can add an address, you must save the record for the individual by clicking Save on the toolbar. 

To add an address, click the  button to the right of the field. For details, refer to Adding an Address. 

In the Phone field, type the phone number of the individual. 

Note. It is important that you enter any phone by using a special form. To open the Phone form, click in the Phone field to the right. This opens the Phone dialog box. 

 

Enter the country code, city code, and phone number in the respective fields. On the Comment tab, enter any relevant comments. 

Click OK to save the data and close the dialog box. 

The Photo pane

You can add a photo to the master record of the individual. 

To add a photo, do the following:

  1. Click the  button on the toolbar. In the record for the individual has not been saved yet, you will be prompted to save it before you can proceed.
  2. On the form that appears, click Create File.
  3. In the dialog box that appears, select the option of file creating: From File on Disk.
  4. Locate the file with the person's photo by browsing the local computer.
  5. Click Open for the selected file.
  6. Review the information available for this photo.
  7. Close the form.
  8. On the Individuals form, the Main Information tab, under the input box intended for the person's photo, click  in the field to the right.
  9. Select the attached file with the photo.
  10. Save the person's record.

Toolbar buttons

Click the Save button to save the new record or any changes to the existing record. Click the Save and close button to save the record or any changes and close the form.
