Warehouse accounting by cells allows you to be always informed about which parts of the warehouse contain the goods and materials.

To access the cells section, open the create and edit form for the required warehouse (to learn how to do it, please see par. Create and edit warehouse) or click the ‘Warehouse Cells’ hyperlink located on the toolbar above. If you create a warehouse and not edit it, press ‘Save’ before clicking ‘Warehouse Cells’: the system will not let you access the warehouse cells catalog without first saving the related warehouse.

Please note that warehouse should have the ‘Cellular’ attribute enabled (it is displayed in the ‘Main’ page and its hyperlink is located on the toolbar above). Otherwise the system will not let you create cells.

To add a cell, press the ‘Create’ button on the list toolbar. To edit the existing one, double click the line with its name. You can also select the line, press the ‘More’ button (in the upper right corner) and click ‘Edit’ in the drop-down list. You can right-click the line instead of pressing the ‘More’ button.

In the create form, only the Description field is required. Description will be displayed in the system interface, in the drop-down lists, and in the documents print forms.

Warehouse Cell (create) form

Both the warehouses catalog and the cell section have a hierarchy structure. To form a dependency, select the parent cell in the Parent field (to open the catalog to select from, click the ‘Show all’ hyperlink in the drop-down list). If the necessary cell has not been added yet, you can create it by pressing the ‘Create’ button on the toolbar of the displayed directory or by pressing the  button in the same drop-down list.

After completing the cell form, press ‘Save and close’ or ‘Save’ to save the applied changes. When saving a new item, the system will assign it a unique code that can be edited. After finishing your work with the cells, be sure to do the same in the warehouse form (you can access it by clicking the ‘Main’ hyperlink located on the toolbar above).
