On this form, you can view a hierarchic structure of storage locations in your warehouse and add new locations if needed.
Clearly identify bin locations to match your warehouse's physical location layout: Blocks, Zones, Rooms, Rows, Racks, Shelves, Cells, Bins, or any other location and storage types. Maintaining a clear structure of bin location that aligns with actual layout of the warehouse will help you maintain the inventory in order and will facilitate stocktaking. Using bin locations in documents will allow you to accelerate the picking process.
Note. Bin location names must be unique. No two locations should have the same name. In case of multi-level structure, it is recommended that you start creating locations with upper-level locations. When creating a bin location, provide it with a full name which includes the names of all containing (upper-level) locations or their abbreviations and the name of the location itself. For example, for a Cell2 in the Row1 on the Level1 of the warehouse, the full name could be Level1Row1Cell2.
