Use this tab to specify how often workwear and tools of specific types required for work of an employee in particular position must be replaced by new ones.

Note. You may need to first create each workwear type (as item categories) using the Asset Management > Master Data > Item Categories form. Alternatively, you can define item categories directly from this form.

Click Add to add a new line to the document.

In the Position column, select a position for which workwear or tools are required.

In the Workwear/Tool Type column, select a specific type of tools or workwear.

In the Usage Rate column, specify the quantity of items of this type which are issued simultaneously and supposed to be used up during the specified useful life.

In the Useful Life (Months) specify the number of months during which the specified quantity of workwear or tool of this type is usable, that is, can be used for work by employee.

Note that the Useful Life (Months) time interval is valid for the item's quantity specified in the Usage Rate column, not for each unit of the item. For example, for Working Gloves with usage rate 3 and useful life 3 months, actual useful life of one unit is about 1 month. Generally, Usage Rate is greater than 1 for items with shorter useful life.
