The software has standard download templates from Excel for most of the documents.

If you need to create a template for loading data that is not available with standard downloads, you need to define a few basic data.

  1. Catalog or Document.

Catalogs are the lists of the same type accounting items. Documents are the lists of registered events from the entity's activity.
Object type - choose from the list of catalogs or documents to be imported.

1.1 Specify the type of the object – Catalog.

1.2 Document: Specify the type of the object – Document.

2. Import Type : The type of upload is either to objects (Import to Objects) or to the tabular part of an open document (Import to a Table).

2.1 Import to Objects.
The upload will be made to the list of documents. It means it is used to create the Catalog or the complete document.
For example,

2,2, Import to a Table. The upload will be made to the tubular part of the document.

It can be filling the data included in the tabs of the document or Catalog.
For example,

Excel Field

The column name of the Excel document.

Local Field

The field of the object specified in the Object Type property on the Main Parameters tab. The list of available values is generated automatically.

Format

A link to an element of the Excel Import Formats directory that describes exactly how the Excel value should be translated. FirstBIT ERP will try

to fill in this field by itself when filling in the Local Field, but you can change the result if necessary. If you leave the field empty, the field will not

be broadcast automatically.
If you need to create new objects that are not in the directories (item, organization, etc.), you need a handler. These handlers are written by the

technical team. You need to contact your Accounts manager or send to Hotline for further customization.

Once the below is created, user can download and use for excel uploading in the document/Catalog.

Once the above settings are done, the data from excel can be uploaded directly to the document using the Import from excel option.
