8.1.2.1. Adding a VAT Rate

To define a new VAT rate, in the Description box, type the description for the rate (for instance, 9 %).

The VAT Rate (create) form

In the Rate box, enter the percent of the new VAT rate.

Select the Non-Taxable check box to indicate that no tax will be calculated according to this rate.

To save the VAT rate, click Save; to save the VAT rate and close the form, click Save and close. For descriptions of other toolbar buttons, see Document Toolbar.
