To access the Requisitions document list, select Purchasing > Purchasing Documents > Requisitions.

A Requisition registers needs of your entity's specific base unit (department or warehouse) in goods or services that should be transferred from another base unit (warehouse) to this unit, or purchased, or manufactured.


The Requisitions list

The list of Requisitions includes all the Requisitions available in the system. If you don't see a specific document, rearrange the list by date or document number or use the field under the title to locate the document by entity, requester, or recipient. You can change the list display settings to suit your particular needs. To learn more about the list display settings, see Working with the item list.

In the Requisitions list, you can view the document statuses:

  • Draft: This status indicates that the document has been created, can be further changed before posted.
  • Waiting for Approval: This status is available if approval of Requisitions is configured. Document with this status has been posted and should be reviewed by an employee authorized to approve documents of this type.
  • Waiting for Processing: Document with this status has been posted and approved if approval is configured.
  • Partially Ordered: This status indicates that for this document some of the orders have been created.
  • Ordered: All required orders have been created for this document.
  • Partially Delivered: This status indicates that for this document some of the goods have been delivered.
  • Delivered: All items requested in this document have been delivered.
  • Denied/Canceled: This status indicates that the document either was not approved or was cancelled by any reason.
  • Closed: The document has been closed.

In the column with the icon as a heading, you can view icons that designate the state of fulfillment of the listed requisitions. In you double-click  the icon against the particular requisition, the Requisition Fulfillment Analysis report opens, so that you can view the current details of this requisition fulfillment.

Note. In a column with the icon as a heading, you can view which of Requisitions have statuses being changed only manually (indicated by icon); for these documents, the Do Not Change Status Automatically option is selected. For details on statuses, refer to Requisition Statuses.

A Requisition itself can be used as a basis for the following documents:

  • Transfer Order: To order moving of the items from another base unit.

The toolbar buttons

To manually create a new document of the Requisition type, click the Create button on the toolbar.

To edit an existing document, double-click the line with the document in the Requisitions list. You can also select the line, right-click it and select Edit or click More actions > Edit on the toolbar.

Click the Generate button to create documents based on this Requisition.
