Sometimes you need to temporarily lock the work of users in the application, for example, for scheduled jobs or updates installation. To do it, select the "Application Locking" item in the "Administration" section.

In the locking window set the starting and ending date.
In the Message for users field, specify a text displayed to users, while attempting to enter the database during locking period.
In the Code for unlocking field, specify a code to access the database, during unlocking period.
To start the locking period, click the Lock button in the bottom of the window.
