To access the Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets document list, go to Asset Management > Fixed Asset Documents > Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets.

Documents of this type are available if the Enable Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets option is selected on the Administration > Configuration Settings > Asset Management form.

The Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets list

The list includes all the Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets documents available in the system. If you don't see a specific document, rearrange the list by date or document number or use the Search field to locate the document by a string in fixed asset description. You can change the list display settings to suit your particular needs. To learn more about the list display settings, see Working with the item list.

The toolbar buttons

To manually create a new document of the Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets type, click the Create button on the toolbar.

To edit an existing document, double-click the line with the document in the Capital Improvements to Fixed Assets list. You can also select the line, right-click it, and select Edit or click More actions > Edit on the toolbar. For descriptions of other buttons, refer to List Toolbar.

Click Generate > Goods Receipt Note if you need to receive the extracted inventory to a warehouse for which the Separate Financial and Warehouse Documents option is selected in the warehouse master record.
