To access the Item Price Types master data, go to: Sales > Master Data > Sales Price Types.

FirstBIT ERP supports using several multiple price types of prices and multiple price lists. To calculate prices dynamically or manually (based on another price type), specify the currencies for the prices and their calculation methods in the ‘Items' Price Types’ catalog.

To access the catalog, go to the ‘Sales’ section (see figure below).

By default the system has two items' price types that can be edited: To edit a price type, double-click the line with its name or click the line and press the ‘More’ button located in the right toolbar. Then select ‘Edit’ from the drop-down list. You can right-click the line instead of pressing the ‘More’ button. To learn more about editing, see par. Create and edit items' price types.

Initially, there are two predefined price types in the database: Accounting Price and Wholesale Price.

You can edit the predefined price types and add virtually unlimited number of price types. As the list is populated, you can change its display settings. Press the ‘More’ button in the catalog right side Click More actions on the toolbar and select ‘Configure Configure list. ..’ from the drop-down list. The toolbar buttons

To add a new item price type, click the Create button on the toolbar. For details, refer to Adding an Item Price Type. For description of other buttons, refer to List Toolbar.

To view or edit an existing item price type, double-click the line with the item price type in the list. If you as a user use one of the price types more often than others, you can set this price type as the default price type. For this, select the line with the price type name and press click Set As a Type of Sales Prices button (it is located Default Price Type on the toolbar above). After applying this option, the . The default price type will be listed shown in bold type font in this list, and the system will use it as the default price type in the all documents that you will be creating. Also, you can change the default items' item price type in on the Personal settings section Quick menu > Personal Settings form. For details, refer to Personal Settings.
