To access a list of item categories, go to Asset Management > Master Data > Item Categories form.

There are no predefined item categories. Item categories can be used to group similar items with the sale multiple same UOMs or with the same characteristics. Initially, there is only Main group as a predefined item category.

To add an item category, click Create on the toolbar. For details refer to Adding an Item Category.
