You can review the avaialble available statuses of fixed assets or add your custom statuses.

To access a list of fixed asset statuses, go to Asset Management > Master Data > Fixed Asset Statuses form.

The default fixed asset statuses are configured to be assigned automatically; however you can change settings for some statuses so that they will could be assigned manually.

By default, the following statuses are available:1.

  1. Construction In Progress: This status is initially assigned to any fixed asset that requires some preparation

  1. or construction works before it could be put in use.

  1. Construction is Completed: This status is assigned to any fixed asset that is ready for use.

...

  1. Active: This status is assigned automatically on posting the Fixed Asset Entry document with the listed fixed asset or by posting a Conservation of Fixed Assets (Transaction Type = Cancellation of Conservation) document.

  1. In Conservation: This status is assigned automatically on posting of the Conservation of Fixed Assets (Transaction Type = Cancellation of Conservation) document.

  1. Held for Sale: This status is assigned automatically on posting the Preparation for Fixed Asset Sale document. The asset is not used and not depreciated.

  1. Disposed: This status is assigned automatically on posting the Fixed Asset Sale or Fixed Asset Write Off document.

Click Create to add a new status. Then click

Adding a new status

On the list of fixed asset statuses, click Create to add a new status.

In the Description field, type a brief description of the status.

Use the Ordinal Number field to specify the order in which this status can be assigned and .

In the Color field, specify the color for highlighting the asset in this status.with this status in the list of fixed assets.

Click Save to save the new status or Save and close to save the status and close the dialog box.

On the list of fixed asset statuses, click the Settings for Fixed Asset Status Changes button to specify conditions to be used for changing the newly added status.
