Generally, the tab is filled out manually with the indirect material costs (tools, raw materials, or other items) that were used in production in addition to materials listed in the specification. Also, you can populate the list from the specifications if you need to change the quantities of materials used for manufacturing (in this case, you need to list only the excessive quantities). To populate the list from the finished goods specifications, click Fill > By Standards.

  • The Inventory Items pane: It lists the contains a list of inventory items used for in the manufacturing process in addition to those listed in specifications.
  • The Inventory Distribution pane: It lists the items resulted from manufacturing (both the Assembly and Disassembly transaction types). Click the Distribute > By Quantity to distribute the inventory items (tools, raw materials) by quantity of finished goods.

To add an inventory item, click the Add or Pick button (refer to Using the pick Pick operation). In the Item column, select an item from the Items list or create a new item. For more details, refer to Items. Alternatively, you can import the list of items with all the details from an Excel document. For this, click the button on the table toolbar and follow the step-by-step instructions in the appeared window. The imported list can be edited in the Administration module.
