To add the items' price type, press the ‘Create’ button on the toolbar of the respective catalog. To edit the existing one, double click the line with its name. You can also select the line, press the ‘More’ button (in the upper right corner) and click ‘Edit’ in the drop-down list. You can right-click the line instead of pressing the ‘More’ button.
In the Items' Price Type (create) form there are two required fields: Description and Price Currency. The national currency specified in the ‘Money’ section is used by default (see par. Settings for the 'Money' section). You can change it by selecting another currency in the drop-down list. If the required currency is not in the list, please see Completing the 'Currencies' catalog

In the Price Calculation Method field, select one of the following values:
- Manually
The prices are set manually using the Setting Items Prices document. You can enter the prices from your keyboard or upload them from a file. The price type with such calculation method can be used as a basis for calculating other price types.
- Manually (Based on Another Price Type)
The prices are calculated semi-automatically based on another (basic) type using the rule you set (by 50% more expensive, by 10% less expensive, etc.). The calculation process is launched manually (in the Setting Items Prices document). The system saves the generated prices so the price type with such calculation method can be used as a basis for calculating other price types. Please note that if basic prices are changed, the system will not update the calculations based on them until you launch the process in the Setting Items Prices document over again.
- Dynamically
As in the previous method, the prices are calculated based on another (basic) price type. There are two differences:
- The system calculated the price for each document over again based on the last basic price change, i.e. the numbers will be always updated.
- The system does not store the prices calculated with this method, i.e. the price type with such calculation method cannot be used as a basis for calculating another price type.
After completing the form, press ‘Save and close’ or ‘Save’ to save the applied changes. When saving a new item, the system will assign it a unique code that can be edited.
