Generally, you can generate tax credit notes automatically for documents of the following types: Credit Note, Payment Bank Receipt (Advance), Cheque Receipt Received (Advance), Petty Cash Receipt (Advance), or Output VAT Transaction. For this, in the appropriate document you click Generate > Tax Credit Note on the toolbar or click the Generate Tax Credit Note button at the bottom of the open document.
