To access the calendars, go to HR & Payroll > See also > Work Day Calendars. Work day calendars are available only if  if the HR and Payroll module is enabled.  Otherwise, calendars can be defined via the Accounting > Master Data > Entities form.

Each calendar contains information about work days, days off, and holidays in the current year. At the end of the current year, the calendar will be extended for the coming year. Generally, the company has one calendar. If the company has groups of employee having different work weeks (for instance, with 5 and 6 work days) or has entities in different time zones, different countries, or employees working remotely from different countries—there might be several work calendars. You can add any number of calendars.
