To access the master data on project types, select Project Costing > Master Data > Project Types.

If you need to structure the project data in reports by project type, you can create project types.

By default, there are no project types in the system.

To add a project type, click Create on the toolbar. This opens the Project Type (create) dialog box.

In the dialog box, do the following:

  1. Enter a clear and brief description for the project type in the Description field.
  2. Provide any relevant comments and details in the Comments text box.
  3. Click Save and Close.
