To access the Employee Benefit Types master records, go to HR & Payroll > Master Data > Employee Benefit Types. This master data is available only if the HR and Payroll module is enabled.

The Employee Benefit Provisions list
This master data includes information on all types of benefits available to employees of the company. Benefits may include: dental and medical insurances, parking fees, paid club memberships, and so forth.
According to the matching principle of the accounting, the company (or its specific entity) must record the expenses associated with the benefit monthly and set aside the corresponding monthly amount of benefit to accrue the amount that will be paid out. For instance, once a year an employee gets allowance for an air ticket, while the total amount is being accrured during the year and the corresponding expenses are recognized by the entity on a monthly basis.
Initially, there are no benefit types on the list. To add a benefit type, click the Create button on the toolbar; for details, refer to Adding a Benefit type.
To edit a benefit type, double-click the line with its name or click the line and then click More on the toolbar and Edit from the drop-down list. You can add any number of benefit types.
As the list is populated, you can change its display settings. Click More actions on the toolbar and select Configure list. For more information on the list settings, see Work with the item list.
