Using the Unit of Measurement (UOM) (create) form, you can add a UOM.
On this form, the Short Description and Full Name fields are required.
The Global Unit of Measurement (UOM) (create) form
In the Short Description field, type a brief description of a UOM.
In the Code field, specify the code to be used to designate the UOM.
Optionally, in the International Abbreviation field, type the abbreviation commonly used for the UOM.
Use the Full Name text box to provide a full name of the UOM.
Click the Save button to save the new UOM or the Save and close button to save the UOM and close the form.
