Conditional appearance is used to make format and style for report areas. With conditional appearance, user can change the text or background color, font, format of data in cells, horizontal or vertical position, etc. both the report as a whole and individual areas of the report (rows, columns or cells).
User may change conditional appearance for report with menu More actions - Change report variant and there select Conditional Appearance tab.
This tab contains a list of conditional design elements used in the report.
With push Add button user may see the whole list of Appearance settings - settings with format of text - color, font, indents, position in cell, placement, borders of cells:
Here is also might be formatted numeric cells - decimals, precision, decimal and group separator.
Conditional design mechanism might be applied to diffrerent areas on report.
User can select by himself which ares will be changed with conditional appearnce settings - with selecting it on More tab in Edit conditional appearance Item:
For example:
it is needed to adjust placement for totals or for Amount due to long numbers in cells:
user shoul add new conditional appearance. On Appearance tab it is needed to select Placement - Wrap (and mark check box as active):
And on More tab select Grand Total.
Another example:
it is necessary to change the report font, and also set the quantity attribute to be rounded to whole numbers in the Sales by company report.
How to do it in the ERP System:
open Change report variant form on Conditional appearance tab and push "Add" to add new settings:
Find Font setting, mark it as active with checkbow and select font as user needs.
For rounding:
add new conditional appearance setting. On formatted fields Quantity should be selected:
and on Appearance tab it is needed to add format setting:
When adding and saving the described settings, the report will be generated in the following form:
(so in report font and Quantity format were changed in comparing with standard appearance of Sales by companies report).
