Conditional appearance lets you change how different parts of a report look. You can adjust things like text color, background color, font style, and the position of data in cells, whether it's for the whole report or just specific sections like rows or columns.

To update these settings, go to "More Actions> pick Change report variant > click on the "Conditional Appearance" tab. This tab shows you all the design changes you can apply to the report.

By clicking the "Add" button, users can view the complete list of appearance settings, including options for text formatting such as color, font, indentation, cell positioning, placement, and cell borders.

Numeric cells can also be formatted to adjust decimals, precision, and separators for decimal and group values.

The conditional design feature can be applied to various parts of the report.

Users can choose which areas will be affected by conditional appearance settings by selecting them under the "More" tab in the "Edit Conditional Appearance" section.

For example, if you need to adjust the placement of totals or amounts due to lengthy numbers in cells:

You should add a new conditional appearance. On the Appearance tab, select "Placement - Wrap" and ensure the checkbox is checked.

On the More tab select Grand Total.

Here’s another example:

If you need to change the report font and round the quantity attribute to whole numbers in the "Sales by Company" report:

To do this in the ERP system, open the "Change Report Variant" form, go to the "Conditional Appearance" tab, and click "Add" to create new settings.

Locate the Font setting, activate it by checking the checkbox, and choose the desired font.

For rounding:

Add a new conditional appearance setting and select the "Quantity" field under formatted fields.

and on the Appearance tab, it is needed to add the format setting:

When adding and saving the described settings, the report will be generated in the following form:

(This way, the report’s font and Quantity format are adjusted from the standard appearance of the "Sales by Companies" report.)

Users can save their custom conditional appearance settings as a new report variant and use it as needed.
