This report displays overdue customer balances for each contract, detailed down to individual invoices, in the accounting currency and organized by aging intervals as of the selected date. You can easily identify which invoices are overdue for payment.

By default, the report uses a predefined set of aging intervals, but you can view or create new intervals through the Administration > See also > Aging Intervals form. Additionally, you can filter the data by Entity and Company.

The Accounts Receivable Aging report is compiled from the Accumulation Registers for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Receivable (Payment Terms).

Data for the report is automatically gathered based on the date specified by the user in the Quick Settings panel. If no date is set, the system will calculate the data using the current system date of the computer.

The data for Total Balance and Total Overdue in the report is collected as follows:

  • Total Balance: This reflects the sum of all outstanding amounts owed by customers across various contracts and invoices.

  • Total Overdue: This indicates the sum of all overdue invoices that have not been paid by the specified date.

For example, if you double-click on the Total Balance amount, you can open a detailed report that provides further insights into the specific invoices and contracts contributing to that total.

details:

In the Payment Term Analysis section, you can review the Stage information, which corresponds to the data found in the Payment Terms tab of the related Invoice document. This allows users to verify the accuracy of the data in the report by comparing it with the details in the invoice.

In the Total Balance section, the system displays the unpaid balance for each company, while the Total Overdue reflects unpaid balances that are past due based on payment terms.

If the Total Overdue is greater than 0, the Total Balance amount is highlighted in red to draw attention to the overdue situation.
