Problem: How to transform boxes into pieces?
Solution: Create transfer to Dummy Warehouse, product boxes into pieces and return to your warehouse.
1. Register purchasing of item in boxes:
2. Create Inventory Transfer to dummy warehouse (create it if required) - Warehouse > Warehouse Documents > Inventory Transfers:
3. Create a Production document (Production > Documents > Productions):
Choose Dummy Warehouse as Manufacturer and Assembly as Transaction Type:
Add item in pieces at Finish Goods tab:
Add item in boxes at Materials tab:
4. Transfer item in pieces from dummy warehouse to main warehouse by creating Inventory Transfer:
Check a result in Warehouse report:
