This document contains information on parties to the transaction, date and number of the incoming document, and tax period.


The required fields are: Operator, Contract, Entity, and In Doc # and From.


The "Tourist VAT Refund Report (Create)" form

In the Operator field, select the operator of the Tax Refund for Tourists Scheme. Select it from the Companies master data or create a new master record.

The Contract field is populated automatically with the default contract of the entity selected in the Company field. If necessary, you can select another contract of this company (to open the list of contracts, click in the Contract field, then select Show all).

<Auto> in the Number field indicates that a number to this document is assigned automatically when you save the document. The From field is populated automatically with the current business date. You can select another date if necessary.

In the Entity field, select your company's entity for which this document is being prepared. The Entity field is available if the Multi-Company Accounting option is selected on: Administration > Settings > General Settings.

You can select your personal default entity to appear in documents; for this, refer to Personal Settings. If you have not selected your default entity, the entity defined first will be used as the system default value.

In the Responsible field, specify the employee who is responsible for interactions with the operator.

In the In Doc.# and From fields, enter the number and date of the incoming document received from the operator (Planet).

Make sure that the tax period is shown correctly (in the screenshot it is shown as October 2019 link); otherwise click the link to select another period.

Notice also the link that shows the currency of the document. If needed, click the link to select another currency.

In the Amount field, enter the amount form the incoming document. In the VAT Amount field, type the total amount of the VAT refunded to tourist during the selected tax reporting period, also from the incoming document.

In the Comment text box, you can specify some additional information related to the transaction.

At the bottom of the form, you can view who created the document and the document current status; it can be one of the following:

  • New (document was created, but not registered)
  • Not Posted (document was recorded, but not posted)
  • Posted (document was posted)
  • Marked for Deletion (document was marked to be deleted)

The toolbar buttons

After filling out the form, click the Save button to save your work. Click Post to save and post the document without closing it or Post and close to save, post, and close the document.
