Problem: The code has reached its limit, and it no longer generates a new number/code. How to renumber company codes manually?
Solution: In order to renumber company codes, the following steps must be taken.
If you accidentally or intentionally renumbered the company code.
The code has reached the limit number.
The software gives an error:
If the number of companies created after changing the code is small, you can do the renumbering manually. Right-click on the company name - Edit.
Change all necessary codes i.e. if the number has reached limits, add any Alphaphet after a hyphen For example 00-C00001 to start a new sequence of numbering.
New companies will be assigned numbers based on this principle.
