Problem - The code has reached its limit and it no longer generates a new number/code. How to renumber company codes manually?
Solution description- In order to renumber company codes, the following steps must be taken:
If you accidentally or intentionally renumbered the company code.
The code has reached the limit number.
The software gives an error:
if the number of companies created after changing the code is small, you can do the renumbering manually. Right-click on the company name - Edit.
Change all necessary codes i.e. if the number has reached limits, add any Alphaphet after a hyphen For example 00-C00001 to start a new sequence of numbering.
New companies will be assigned numbers based on this principle.
