You can save the information about the contact persons from the entities you work with.

The easiest way to add them is through the respective company create and edit form. To learn how to access that form, please see par. Create and edit companies. The 'Main Parameters' tab

If you create a company and not edit it, press the ‘Save’ button after completing the required information. If you do not save the company, you won’t be able to complete the related ‘Contact Persons’ catalog.

To add a contact person, click the drop-down list for the respective field in the company form and press the Image Removed button. Or click the ‘Show all’ hyperlink in the same drop-down list. Then press the ‘Create’ button in the displayed window of the ‘Contact Persons’ catalog. To edit the existing contact person, double click the line with its name. You can also select the line, press the ‘More’ button (in the upper right corner) and click ‘Edit’ in the drop-down list. You can right-click the line instead of pressing the ‘More’ button.

In the Contact Persons (create) form, only the Full Name field is required.

In addition to the full name, you can specify:

  • Job Title

Select it from the ‘Contact Persons' Roles’ list. If it is empty, press the Create button in the displayed window to create a job title.

  • Contact information

It's important to input the digits in the designated form for the telephone numbers. To access the form, press the  button to the right of the input field.

  • Responsible

The system inserts this field value automatically based on the current user settings (to learn how to change the default values, please see par. Personal Settings). You can change it to any other employee from the Employees catalog. To access the ‘Employees’ catalog, click the ‘Show all’ hyperlink in the drop-down list.  If the necessary employee has not been added yet, you can create the employee by pressing the ‘Create’ button on the toolbar of the displayed catalog or by pressing the Image Removed button in the same drop-down list.

Use the Additional Information tab to enter the Date of Birthday, Working Days, Preferred Language, Contact Registration Date and Connection Stop Date and to add Comment.

After completing the ‘Contact Persons’ form, press ‘Save and close’ or ‘Save’ to save the applied changes. When saving a new item, the system will assign it a unique code that can be edited. When you finish your work with the company form, make sure to save it tooUsing this tab, you can provide contact information for the company.

In the Phone and Fax fields enter the main phone and fax numbers of the company.
Note. You must enter all the phone numbers by using a designated form (invoked by clicking the Image Added button) to make sure the phone numbers have the correct format.

In the Email field type, type the main public email address of the company.

If the company has a website, enter the website address in the Website field.

Also, you can provide any additional information related to the company in the Additional Information text box.
