Vacation or annual paid leave is a benefit that employers typically give employees. In some countries, it may be the same number of paid days annually, while in other countries, vacation duration may depend on the employment length.

Generally, employees are entitled to vacation time and vacation pay after being employed for half a year or one year depending on the country.

If employers allow some unpaid vacations such as pilgrimage or hajj, study leave, or some other, these leaves are registered as Other Absences.

In FirstBIT ERP, you can define various types of vacations, main and additional, assign them to employees in their Employment Contracts and process the employee requests for vacations.
