The Inventory tab contains a list of inventory items that are being reserved.

If you are manually creating this document, to add a new row, click the Add button. If reservation will be done for multiple customer orders, make sure that you moved the Customer Order to this tab as a column. For this, you can use the Settings button on the form toolbar. Then, you can populate the list of items to be reserved by adding Customer Orders one by one.

In the Warehouse column, select an item from the selected order.

In the Item column, select an item from the selected order.

The Characteristic column is available if the Enable Item Characteristics option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form. In this column, you can specify additional properties (such as size, color, and so forth) of each listed item if the Use Characteristics option is selected for the item in its master record (see Items).

The Batch column is available, if the Enable Batches option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form. In this column, you can specify the batch (lot) number for the items for which the Use Batches option is selected. Generally, you must specify batch numbers for items with expiration dates, for produced items, items on consignment.

In the Quantity column, you can specify the quantity of the item to be reserved and in the UOM column, you can select an UOM for the item if the Multiple UOMs per Item option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form.

The Serial Numbers column is available if the Serial Number Tracking option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form. For each serialized item (for which the Use Serial Numbers check box is selected in their master record), click in the column to open the Serial numbers dialog box. In this dialog box, you can provide the serial numbers according to quantity of the item. Serial numbers are required only if the Control Stock Balances by Serial Number option is selected on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form.

The Term column shows the number of days to hold the item.

Use the Up and Down ( ) buttons to rearrange the items in the list.

Use the button to select the items by barcode. Click the button to open the Enter Barcode dialog box.

Once done entering the barcode, click OK to select the item and close the dialog box.
