To access the list of project tasks, select Project Costing (the left panel) > Master Data > Project Tasks.

The Projects Tasks master data contains information about the tasks related to company's external and internal projects.

Before you can start creating project tasks, you may need to create master records of the following types: Projects, Project Roles and Project Types.


The Project Tasks list

The list of project tasks includes all the project's tasks available in the system. You can filter project tasks by project using the Project field above the Tasks list. The tasks are listed according to their WBS codes. If you don't see a specific project task, use the Search field to locate the project task by a string in its description or by its WBS code. You can change the list display settings to suit your particular needs. To learn more about the list display settings, see Working with the item list.

To add a project task, click the Create button on the toolbar. To edit the existing one, double-click the line with its name. You can also select the line, right-click it, and select Edit or click on the toolbar: More actions > Edit.

To manually create a new project task , click the Create button on the toolbar.

To edit an existing project task, double-click a line with the project task in the list. You can also select the line, right-click it and select Edit or click More actions > Edit on the toolbar. If you need to perform other operations, refer to List Toolbar.
