According to the international financial reporting standards, the A chart of accounts is the basis for accounting and analysis of the enterprise economic activities.

Chart of accounts structure is not strictly defined in the system, and each entity can change it to make fit its needs. At the same time, you can use the recommended chart of accounts of the system.

Fill in the chart of accounts at the beginning of the work with the system in order to minimize adjustments in the future.

When creating a new information database, the "General Chart of Accounts" is automatically filled in with the recommended chart of accounts.

To access the accounts list, go to the "Accounting" section (see the figure below).

As the list is filled and for convenience of work, you can change its display settings. Click the "More" button on the right side toolbar and select "Configure list..." from the drop-down list. To learn more about the lists display settings, see par. Working with the item list.

In FirstBIT ERP, you can use the default chart of accounts (COA). If needed, you can edit the default COA to make it best suit the company's need by adding new accounts or removing any unneeded accounts.
