The master records of projects can be arranged in a hierarchical structure by using folders (or groups). For example, you can group projects by customer, project type, or in any other way. In a newly implemented system, there are no projects, and there are no folders holding the projects.

If the created group should be a group within another group—parent group—specify this parent group in the Folder field (see the figure below) thus adding a new hierarchy level. The number of levels is virtually unlimited. Then, click Save and close.
Optionally, for more logical structure, you can group projects in folders by project type. You can move the projects between folders by drag-and-drop method or by selecting another folder to hold a particular project (when editing this project).
