In the Project Costing module, projects are created as master data. Also, the master data for Project Costing includes the project roles and project types. New records for to master data are can be added as you need them. Generally, the master records if used in any transaction cannot be edited or deleted, and you must mark them as obsolete (inactive). If needed, you can add new records at any time.
All master records in this module become available only after the Project Management functionality is turned on on the Administration > Settings > General Settings form. The following types of master records are maintained in the Project Costing module:
