A Requisition records the needs of a specific base unit (department or warehouse) for goods or services that need to be transferred from another base unit, purchased, or manufactured.
To enable this feature, go to Administration > Settings: Purchasing and Warehouse > Enable Requisition.

On the Main tab, enter general details about the document. The required fields are Entity, Recipient, Requested by, and Required Date.
Recipient: Choose the base unit that will receive the goods or services.
Requested by: Select the employee who requested the items.
Required Date: Set the date by which the requisition should be fulfilled.
On the Inventory and Services tab, complete the fields for item, quantity, price, VAT, project task, and transaction content as needed. Additionally, there are two new fields: Fulfillment Method and Fulfillment Source.
Fulfillment Method and Fulfillment Source: Choose how the request will be fulfilled:
- Purchase: Buy the item. If this is selected, the source will be the supplier company name
- Production: Manufacture the item. If this method is used, the source should be the department where the production occurs.
- Inventory Transfer: Transfer the item from another warehouse or base unit. The source will be the warehouse name.
This manual will guide you through the process of selecting the Purchase method. Manually enter the price, and enable the VAT-included option if the price already includes VAT.
Once all the details are filled, post the document. The status of the document will be changed to Waiting for Processing.
A Requisition's status shows its processing stage:
Draft: Editable before posting.
Waiting for Approval: Pending review.
Waiting for Processing: Awaiting processing.
Partially Ordered: Some orders were created.
Ordered: All orders are complete.
Partially Delivered: Some goods were delivered.
Delivered: All goods delivered.
Denied/Canceled: Not approved or canceled.
Closed: Finalized and closed.
Statuses are updated automatically when documents linked to the Requisition are created, either through the generate option or by manually selecting the Requisition.
To manually change the status or prevent automatic updates, enable the Do Not Change Status Automatically option and use the Change Status link on the Main tab.
To view the Requisition Fulfillment Analysis report, click the circle icon on the Requisition page. This report will give you a detailed overview or summary of the requisition.
