The Project Costing module enables you to create projects, enter budget estimates for these projects, monitor the project progress, compare the budgets to actual revenues and costs, and view the project profits or losses. Generally, a project designates a set of specific objectives that should be accomplished within a fixed time interval and with fixed resources. Using projects helps increase efficiency.
Module Addons:
- Tasks: You can split any project in tasks that should be executed successfully or in parallel; you can indicate the order of task execution by specifying a predecessor for a task or you can group multiple tasks by specifying a parent task. This allows for more detailed planning and tracking of project execution.
- Project Estimates by Period: With this feature, you will be able to specify the planned revenues and costs for a project by period and then monitor whether the project is being executed according to the plan.
- Calculate Material Costs on Purchase/ on Usage: This feature will allow you to select how the project costs will be accounted for for your projects.
Master Data
In the Project Costing module, you need to create master records for new projects and project tasks. Also, the master data includes the Project Types and Project Roles for employees participating in project and other company's contacts.
Project Costing Documents
