To access Project item pricing, go to project cost module > project management document > project item pricing.



It is used to create list of prices for Materials, Fixed assets etc. which can be linked to project. It can be done by adding the default price type, with a start date which further will be considered in the estimation of the expenses and cost (by cost element).

Prices can be created for items, fixed assets, any position or employees.
It is divided into 5 tabs respectively i.e. Main tab, Item prices, fixed assets prices, Positions price and Employees prices.


  • Main tab-In the main tab,  user can specify general information about the company, price type, project, document basis, start and end date

Company field- User can select a customer company from the master data, If this field is left empty, the prices defined in this document will be applicable for all companies.

Price type- select the price type for the prices.

From field is populated automatically with the current business date. User can select another date to set the prices in effect, if necessary. Optionally, in the To field, user can set the end date for these prices.

In the project field, specify the project to which this prices are allocated to. It is a mandatory box. 

Document basis- choose the basis document.

In the Comment text box, you can provide any additional information on these prices.

  •  Item prices Tab- Here, when the prices of the items will be added it will further be picked up in Item estimation or to the cost, when cost element is used. 
    for example- when a project estimate is created, under the cost tab,  expense item is selected as cost of material, item is used for cost element, the price set for the item in the project item pricing will be filled automatically.
  • Fixed assets prices-It is used to set the prices of Fixed assets which is used as cost element for project estimate. 
  • Position Prices-it is used to set the prices of position rates. If position is selected for cost element.
  • Employees prices-This tab is used to add the price list of employees.


This document makes it easier for creation of cost estimation. In case the estimation is already created, then item pricing is added, user can click on refill option on Project Estimation document, the prices will be refilled based on project item pricing.
