To access the list of project tasks, go to Project Costing (left panel) → Master Data → Project Tasks.
The Project Tasks master data contains information about tasks related to the company's external and internal projects.
Before creating project tasks, it may be necessary to first create master records for the following types:
Projects
Project Roles
Project Types

To add a project task, click the Create button on the toolbar. To edit the existing one, double-click the line with its name. You can also select the line, right-click it, and select Edit or click on the toolbar: More actions > Edit.
1.4.1: Adding a Project Task
This tab provides you with main information on the project task: project, planned dates of its start and finish. As the project moves through different stages of its life cycle, the dates of project task's actual start and finish can be added.
The required fields are: Description and Project.

In the Description field, type a clear and concise description of the project task. This description will identify the project task in project task lists.
In the Project field, select the project to which this task is related.
In the WBS Code field, enter the code assigned to the task.
In the Project Task field, specify the task that includes this task.
Additionally, by using the Milestone check box, you can specify that is task is a milestone for the project.
In the Planned Start Date, select the date when it is planned to start the project task. In the Finish field, specify the planned finish date of this project task.
Use the Start Date (Plan) and the End Date (Plan) fields to specify the planned dates of this task lifespan.
In the Start Date and the End Date fields, you can enter the actual start and end dates of this project task.
In the Details text box, you can enter any information that is relevant to the project task.

Click Add to add a new row.
In the Employee column, select an employee who will work for this project task.
Click Save to save the entered data.
1.4.1.2: Predecessor’s tab
The information on this tab is optional.

Click Add for new row.
Select Predecessor Project Task and its Dependency type.
After filling out the tab, click the Save button to save the project task. Click Save and close to save the project task with all the changes and close the form.
