Client-Side Status in the context of leads refers to custom status labels that a company can define to track the progress or state of a lead from the client’s perspective.
To display this field on the Lead page:
Go to Administration > CRM Settings.
Enable the option "Use client-side lead status."
Once enabled, the client-side status field will appear on the Lead page, allowing users to view and manage it directly.

Status types can be added using the Edit custom client-side statuses for leads hyperlink.

On the lead page, this option is available on the right side of the screen.
To assign a status, select one from the dropdown list of available statuses
