1C users are able to work in a web browser, but also 1C client desktop application is available.

It is called "platform" and may be installed on PCs and laptops.

The desktop application works more stable and faster.

Installer's variants:

32-bit and 64-bit versions.

32 bit OS is for old PC with system type 32-bit operating system, x86-bit based processor (check System type it in This PC > Properties):

64 bit OS is for PC with system type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor (check System type it in This PC > Properties):

Installation process: 

1. Request the corresponding variant from Hotline or Account Manager.

2. Unzip downloaded archive and find the file setup.exe

3. Run with double-click the file to start installation > Next:

4. Select the features as shown > Next:

Click Next and Finish on the subsequent windows to complete the installation:

3) Add a base: 

Open 1C Enterprise application clicking the icon on your desktop and click "Add" to add a new database in your list:

Select the option to add existing database:

Depending on the type of your database and connection, select the appropriate option, specify details, then click Next and Finish:

4) To check connection, select your database and click "1C:Enterprise":

If everything is done correctly, then the screen presents user and password input:
