Problem: How to delete objects selectively if they have linked documents?

Solution: Use the program tool in following way.

1. To remove marked for deletion objects, please use option Marked Object Deletion
Go to Administration > Service Tools > Marked Object Deletion and choose an option Delete objects selectively:

2. Choose files for deletion putting ticks and press Delete:

3. In case, if system cannot delete some object, it has some relate documents: attached Files or linked documents:

4. Objects should be deleted in proper way:

Case 1: Attached File
Case 2: Linked document

Case 1: Attached File

Open the document which has an error, open the linked attachment file and mark File for deletion:

* As it marked, open Marked Object Deletion and delete this File separately:

* Delete Files Versions if a file has them as well.

Or delete them together at once:

Case 2: Linked document

Open the document which cannot be deleted, check the hierarchy and make sure to mark all for deletion.

* If object for deletion has linked documents, then unlink this documents (delete or replace object from documents using the Edit button):

* Or delete linked object if required and remove them from a system together:

5. As objects deleted, confirmation appears:

NOTE Not all objects may be removed from the system.
As you have them in different documents (for example, items), you may mark it for deletion but not delete from the system as they are needed for correct working of the system and for historical order and master data if linked to any document, it cannot be deleted.
