Problem: How to create a new empty database with configuration (self-hosted)?

Solution: Download the database configuration and install it, after that create database, using instructions below.

  1. Install 1C:Enterprise software.

  2. Install configuration.

  3. Create a new database with standard configuration. 


1. 1C:Enterprise software: 

To install 1C:FirstBirt software  please use instruction on the link - Installing 1C: Enterprise platform.


2. Install configuration:

2.1. Ask your Account Manager or Hotline consultant to send you a link for downloading configuration.

2.2. Download configuration. You should download archive file like this, see screenshot below.

2.3. Install configuration. 

After downloading the file of configuration, extract the files to the current folder:


Double-click on file setup.exe to start the configuration installation:


 To confirm installation > Next


Continue the installation of configuration > Next:


As configuration installed successfully > Finish installation:


3. Create a new database with configuration.


Enter the name of the Infobase > Next:


Specify the path or the software will write it then click next:

Finish adding Infobase:


RESULT:

Now you can open database in Enterprise mode, initially it has only one user Administrator with empty password, you can change Administrator’s password and add users later.


If you opened database in Enterprise mode you will see database with standart settings and no documents such as Invoices, Invoices Received or other.

1C is now open and ready for use:
