Problem: I want restrict users to change posted documents from particulate, how can I set the date ?
Solution: Date of prohibition can be set when users shouldn’t enter any data after Month end closing. Only user with Administrator access can change the settings or add the restrictions.
1) Set date of prohibition from Administration:
2) In the prohibition date settings- select the required option i.e. for all users or User wise by using the drop down option in prohibition date settings:
a) For all users option. Prohibition date can be:
- Common date, which means any addition of data before this date will be restricted. You can manual change the date after every month end closing or select the required settings from the prohibition date drop down.
- By Section, which means setting of prohibition for the particular section available by default. Here you can put the common date or elect another available option:
- By Section and Objects which means the same setting of prohibition as in previous option but it is used for multientity companies to set the different dates or options for different entities. Use Pick object button to select Entity:
b) By users option. Using this option prohibition date can be set per user, restricting only particular user to change the data, or set different dates per users. The same parameters (By section, by section and object) can be set per user as well.
