1.  Provide to the FirstBit (Hotline or account-manager) information about your current platform version and configuration, and they will provide you with distributive files for the platforms and release:

3. , release, the latest bugfix and information about matching configuration with platform: 

Select About under the icon next to Administrator:

2. Take a back-up file.

Use instruction Backup Procedure (Self-hosted)


3. Check if the base is standard:

Open 1C program in Designer mode:

Go to Configuration > Support > Support option.
Check if the button Enable modification is available for click, IMPORTANT NOTE-not click, just check
If this button is NOT available for click - this means, that base might be non-standard, and it is better to be checked by FirstBit tech centre whether it is standard or not:

4. Install the new platform (distributive with platform version was sent by Hotline or Account-manager):

5. Install the new configuration ("upd" file, was sent by Hotline or Account-manager):

Unzip this file and run setup.exe:

Press Next to start update:

Leave the offered by program path to update folder:

1c configuration is successfully installed.


6. Delete bug fix: 

Open 1C program in Designer mode:

Go to Administration > Active Users to be sure that there is no one user except Administrator:

Open Configuration > Configuration extensions and delete Bug Fix:

 7. Update Configuration - go to Configuration > Support > Update Configuration:

Choose recommended option for source search and press Next:

The process is initiated:

Accept Restructure Data:

In case if you see this message, choose Yes:

Complete the procedure. Open 1C in User mode as usual, or run the program from the Designer mode:

Application Update will start:

If the update was done successfully, you will see information about the new release:

Note: you need to repeat points 4,5,7 as many times as many configurations you have.

Example 1 (typical base): 26 to 32 update required 30 and 32 configurations and 8.3.22.XXXX and 8.3.24.XXXX platforms for 30 and 32 configurations accordingly, so need to install 8.3.22.XXXX platform and 30 configuration, update in User mode, then install 8.3.24.XXXX platform and 32 configuration.


8. Install the latest bugfix: Install Extension (Self-hosted)


9. Check About - it also shows parameters of renewed configuration version and bugfix:
