A Quotation records an offer made to a customer. It includes a list of products and services along with prices, discounts, and payment and delivery terms.

Note: Quotations for projects can be created automatically from the Project Estimate document.
The quotation document can be generated from the project estimate by using the "Generate" option or the Generate Quotation button at the bottom of the main page. If created these ways, all relevant details will be automatically populated from the project estimate.
It is generated based on the type of Estimation document:
- Initial Quotation: It is the first offer made for the project scope.
- Revision-Based Quotation: Covers the entire updated project scope, incorporating all changes from the latest revision, and references the corresponding Revision Number.
Variation-Based Quotation: Includes only the modified or added line items resulting from a variation, and references the specific Variation Number for traceability.
