The Warehouse section is used for accounting of inventory movements between warehouses.Image RemovedWarehouses module helps you track any inventory items with all their varieties defined by characteristics, batches, serial numbers. Also, its functionality helps you perform stocktaking (or physical inventory) and correct the accounting data according to the results of stock counting.  As the result, the module can provide accurate, real-time data on inventory stocked in warehouses which helps minimize manual operations and ensures better customer loyalty.

The Warehouses module is configurable; you can select the options that fit your business processes on the Administration > Settings > Purchasing and Warehouses form. For details, refer to Settings: Purchasing and Warehouses.

Addons:

  • Order Management: This functionality enables usage of Transfer Orders along with other types of orders. Transfer Orders are used to register requests to move specific items from one warehouse/department to another one.

In this module, you can create and maintain master records of items, warehouses, and define possible statuses of Transfer Orders.

Warehouse Documents

With the documents available in the Warehouses module, you can effectively create and cancel stock reservations, track reserved and transferred items, register additional expenses incurred on purchasing and transferring.

The Inventory Transfer document is used to register in the system inventory transfer actual transfer of inventory between warehouses or entity's departments.Image Removed. Stocktaking Documents

Stocktaking documents are used in the process of stocktaking (or physical inventory) and for correcting the accounting data in accordance with the results of counting.

A document of the Inventory Reconciliation type is used to show contains the results of reconciliation in the warehouse /department.

Documents of the Inventory Receiving and Receipts and Inventory Write OffOffs types are created at inventory receipt/write off. You can create these documents individually, or based on the Inventory Reconciliation.

The Warehouse section contains such reports for analysis of:

  • Quantity of inventory in warehouses
  • Quantity and cost of reserved inventory

    to register the excessive and missing items respectively. These documents can be created manually or generated based on Inventory Reconciliation.

    Reports

    Using multiple reports, you can easily track any inventory movements and monitor the resulting balances of items.
