Backups can be taken in two ways:You can take backup in 2 ways
1. Designer-To take a backup manually from Designer (recommended)

Select the Database and Click on Designer:
Before starting the backup, check for Please check if there are any active users before taking. Since any session is active, it can , as their sessions could interrupt the process.
Go to Administration > Active usersUsers:
Only your user name the Administrator's username and the Designer application should be available listed in the Active Users list:
To create To take/dump a backup, go to Administration > Dump Info Base:

Go to Administration > Service Tools >Database backup:
